Did you know there is an energy tax credit included in the stimulus bill that could help you do some of the heating and air conditioning home improvement projects you have been delaying? Take a look:

• An energy tax credit is available for improvements made to your home comfort systems in 2009. The credit is available on the installation of higher efficiency , 95% AFUE gas furnaces, 90% AFUE gas boilers, 8.5 HSPF/15 SEER electric heat pumps, and 16 SEER electric air conditioners. The credit is equal to 30 percent of the installed cost of the improvements with a maximum credit of $1,500.
